Our wireless backbone brings our network into each area where we then connect our wireless access point to offer service to clients within that area. As emerging wireless technologies evolve to the point they are reliable enough to trust, we have the ability to plug in new radio cards and update software to take advantage of them. Almost every site now has our 5th Generation wireless access points. With this new equipment. The customer link to our access points can be as high as 450Mbits. Our existing fourth generation clients are already taking advantage of the network upgrades that we have been working on. As we continue the upgrades these clients will continue to see improved capacity and network availabilty. With this generation of equipment, the customer link to our system can be as much as 450 Mbit while our custom routers control the amount of traffic based upon your account type. Burstable means that you can get short bursts of speed much higher than the sustained limit, allowing most web pages to load very quickly, or smaller emails to be sent or received very quickly. The bandwidth limit really only comes into effect on sustained data flow. All our sites have battery backup that will typically provide standby power for at least 4 to 5 hours after a power failure. The entire network is constantly monitored and will automatically message someone within minutes, if a serious problem or outage is detected.
